Choose an evening when your preschooler doesn’t have to get up early the next day to host your almost sleepover preschool activity, and limit the number of guests to four or five to keep activities and socializing running smoothly. Of course, there’s a dress code for this preschool activity. Instruct preschoolers to come dressed in their favorite pajamas and slippers with sleeping bags and pillows in tow.

Purchase some inexpensive, white pillow cases and fabric markers. With a fabric marker, write each preschooler’s name in large letters in the middle of the pillowcase and then let them decorate their pillow case with the markers however they choose.
Watch Movies and Eat Popcorn. Top off your almost sleepover preschool activity by watching a DVD snuggled up in sleeping bags on the family room floor. Some great movie ideas are Finding Nemo, the original Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and Happy Feet!
