What You Will Need 
Large Pumpkin, fresh or artificial
Cardstock Paper in Yellow
Adhesive Velcro
Tape
Scissors
What to Do
Step 1:
Print out the Pumpkin parts activity page on to the cardstock paper.
Step 2:
Cut out each shape. (Older preschoolers can cut out the shapes themselves. Younger preschoolers will need assistance from an adult.)
Step 3:
Attach a piece of Velcro tape directly on the pumpkin for each eye, the nose and two evenly spaced for the mouth.
Step 4:
Attach a piece of Velcro tape to each cut out pumpkin part.
How to Play 
Now that Mr. Pumpkin Head has been prepped, your preschooler is ready to play. Just like a traditional Mr. Potato Head, let your preschooler mix and match shapes for eyes, a nose and a mouth to create endless pumpkin faces.
The Velcro that has been fastened to the pumpkin and the back of your shapes will make it easy for your preschooler to attach and remove different shapes for unlimited use.
