Oftentimes, in the hustle and bustle of party day excitement, party hosts loose track of time, and party activities drag out way too long or are left by the wayside, leaving guests bored or out the door before all the festivities are done. Party hosts who lose track of time, tend to forgo planned activities, which can be disappointing to both guests and the guest of honor.

Sample Perfect Party Activity Schedule

Use the party activity schedule below as a blueprint for your next party to ensure a successful event! If necessary, substitute your event starting time for the one suggested below and adjust the rest of the times accordingly.

12:00 p.m. – Guests Arrive

12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Snacks/Lunch served

12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. – Party Games/Activities

1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Cake Served

1:30 p.m. 1:55 p.m. – Open Presents
(Guests can continue to eat cake while presents are opened.)

1:55 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Pass Out Party Favors

Perfect Party Activity Schedule Tip

Don’t worry if some activities go over the allotted time. It’s perfectly alright if your party activities run a bit longer or shorter than the suggested schedule. Revise your party activity schedule based on your guests’ interest level.
